Renn Con 2017
If you frequent the Annual Renaissance Pleasure Faire in Irwindale, you’ll know that they hosted their very first Renn Con this past weekend. The idea behind Renn Con was to open up the Renaissance Faire to cosplay of all types, allowing attendees to get creative. Many people went all out, and some even mashed up Renaissance Faire attire with well-known characters from all areas of pop culture. With so much room for creativity, the possibilities were endless! Since we heard about this scheduled event, we’ve been super excited to see what Renn Con 2017 would bring, and we were definitely not disappointed. Here are some of our favorites.

When I first started to look around for costumes to wear to the Renaissance Faire, I didn’t know what to pick because there were so many different looks and styles that I’ve seen and I was never exactly sure if what I was looking at was considered Renaissance or not. It turns out that there was a reason for that. People of different societal classes were only allowed to wear certain types of clothing. So I did a little more digging to make it just a tiny bit easier for the rest of you to choose an outfit for your next Renaissance Faire.

Attention, everyone! If you didn't already know, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is hitting theaters on May 5th. I already bought my ticket to see it and I can't wait. After I bought my ticket, I had Guardians of the Galaxy on the mind and thought it'd be cool to do a fun new Guardians of the Galaxy infographic. SPOILER ALERT if you haven't seen the first Guardians of the Galaxy. As you may remember, Groot sacrificed himself to save his friends at the end of the film. He was then reborn from a twig that Rocket was able to recover and now we have Baby Groot, the cutest thing ever. I thought it would be fun to reimagine the rest of the group as babies as well. That's why we're beyond excited for the Power Rangers reboot that's being released on March 24th.
