This past Saturday, DC held their first ever DC Fandome event. DC Fandome was a 24 hour virtual event full of panels, sneak peeks, and big announcements similar to Comic Con! We've rounded up some of the biggest announcements from Saturday's event.

San Diego Comic Con is always the biggest pop culture event of the year, but when the 2020 show was cancelled due to COVID-19, everyone wondered what this year would bring. Luckily, Comic Con's virtual event still brought all the nerd news to everyone from the safety of their own homes and FOR FREE! Many of us are spending a lot more time at home these days, and if you are anything like me, this abundance of free time has put me in a crafty mood. Protective supplies such as face masks are becoming harder to find, so I thought it would be a good opportunity to give a craft lesson of how to sew your own face mask.

The first look came as a darkened screen test with a red filter that had everyone squinting at their screens and turning up their brightness. Welcome to Spring 2020! A bunch of new movies are springing up this season and we're as excited as ever! Of course I can't wait to see the live action of Mulan, my favorite Disney character. I'm also going to be sure to catch The New Mutants and Black Widow. I'm sure my kids are going to want to see Trolls World Tour because she was obsessed with the first movie when it was released. Tragedies and terrible things happen all the time to everyone, but there's something about a terrible thing occurring on Friday the 13th that makes it seem just a tad bit worse. 2019 is coming to an end, but movie season is still going strong! We’ve created a list of the Winter movies we’re most looking forward to. If you’re looking for something for the whole family, we think the Sonic the Hedgehog movie would be a great fit. And if you're looking for something scarier Gretel and Hansel brings an old fairy tale to life in a terrifying way. You should definitely check out the Bad Boys for Life if you're looking for a little more action in your movie. This Winter’s movie releases are sure to have something for everyone. I personally can't wait to watch the final chapter of Star Wars this month. Which one are you most excited to see?

It looks like summer is finally coming to a close. No need to be sad because now we have a slew of fall movies to look forward to! Take a look at our Fall 2019 Movie Releases Infographic for the biggest movie releases coming to theaters. In September, we'll be seeing the opening of the long-awaited sequel to It, the star-studded Hustlers, the Downton Abbey movie, and so much more. We're definitely going to be spending a lot time in the theaters in October as that's when we'll be seeing the releases of Joker, The Addams Family, and the sequels to Maleficent and Zombieland! And finally, in November we're most excited to see Charlie's Angels, Frozen 2, and Tom Hank's as Mr. Rogers in A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood. What are you most excited to see this fall?

Summer is finally here and it looks like it's full of amazing new movie releases that I just can't wait to see. Looking at this list, I can't point to a single movie that I don't want to see. But I do have to say I'm definitely most excited to see Spider-Man: Far From Home. I've been feeling Marvel withdraws since I saw Avengers: Endgame. I'm definitely anxious to see the aftermath of Endgame and also see where the story's going from there. Also, now that my kids are on summer break, it'll be fun to take them to see some movies as well. They're definitely excited to see Toy Story 4 and The Secret Life of Pets 2.
