After two years, Los Angeles Comic Con is finally back! This year LACC moved from it's usual Fall date to December to give the planners more time to create a COVID safe environment. An extra exhibit hall was added, and ticket sales were limited to make sure attendees had plenty of room to spread out and stay safe over the weekend. San Diego Comic Con is always the biggest pop culture event of the year, but when the 2020 show was cancelled due to COVID-19, everyone wondered what this year would bring. Luckily, Comic Con's virtual event still brought all the nerd news to everyone from the safety of their own homes and FOR FREE! So far 2020 has been kind of a big bummer. So far we've had to celebrate Easter within our homes, and I've personally had quite a few friends and family members celebrate their birthdays safely in their homes as well. Cinco de Mayo will be another holiday to add to the list of occasions that we will be adding to the list of celebrations to safely celebrate within our homes practicing social distancing. This year Cinco de Mayo will also be falling on a Tuesday, which again, is a bummer as it's a missed opportunity for an amazing 'Taco Tuesday'.
