It's that time again! Time for our monthly round up for costume events happening in the LA area! Here'a a few events we think you'll like! The Original Renaissance Pleasure...

March is here and 2018 is flying by quickly! You would expect this month's round-up of costume events to only include St. Patrick's Day events, but there's so much more than that! I combed through the overload of Irish themed bar crawls to find some unique events for this month!

With holidays like Mardi Gras and Valentines Day, February is full of so many opportunities to wear fun clothing. For some reason, though, it's hard to find costume events that fit the themes! We've rounded up a few fun events in Los Angeles that are perfect for getting all dressed up and having fun!

Christmas is right around the corner. Get yourself in the holiday spirit by making a delicious cup of hot cocoa, get those slippers or cozy socks on, and curl up with your favorite blanket to watch your favorite Christmas movies. My favorite thing to get myself in the Christmas spirit is to wrap my Christmas gifts or do my holiday baking while watching my favorite Christmas movies.

Christmas is coming up faster than you know. Amidst all the Christmas shopping and other holiday frenzy, as a new parent (or new parent again if you're on your second, third, fourth baby) it can be hard and time consuming trying to come up with the perfect outfit for your baby's first Christmas. So I'm making a list of my favorites so that you can spend a little less time thinking and a little more time enjoying the holidays.

Traditionally, we all know that Christmas seems to be everyone's favorite holiday. It's a time to get together with family and friends, and it's an excuse to bake gingerbread cookies, drink eggnog, and give gifts. If you're anything like me, you aren't quite ready to retire your pumpkins and skeleton decorations. A Halloween/Christmas mash up themed party will get you even more in the Christmas spirit! The best way to tie the two holidays together is with a Nightmare Before Christmas theme.

Time to start busting out your paper turkeys and cornucopia centerpieces, Thanksgiving is this week and it’s the perfect time to express how thankful you are for your loved ones, as well as giving your time to strangers or those less fortunate. If you’re looking to do more than just stuff your face with delicious turkey, stuffing, and pie or hit up your local mall for Black Friday sales over your Thanksgiving holiday, we have found some local events in Los Angeles worth checking out.

October 27-29th, thousands of nerds trekked to the Los Angeles Convention center for Stan Lee's Los Angeles Comic Con (formerly known as Comikaze Expo). In it's 7th year, LA Comic Con was even bigger than ever and cosplayers from all over came to show off their creations. I had the honor of attending for my 3rd year in a row with a few friends and we spent some time hunting down some of the coolest cosplays in the building to share with you!

Have a little fun this Thanksgiving with some themed headbands. We wanted to share with you our free printable Thanksgiving headbands.
