Quarantined Costume Fashion Show
I am now on my third week of social distancing. My kids are now getting used to seeing me everyday and don't seem as excited anymore that I'm not going off to work in the mornings. My daughter is starting to tell me she misses her friends and her teacher. It's the perfect time to think of an activity that's not just questions to ask your kids. We need something more physical and time consuming. It's time for a Quarantined Costume Fashion Show

Quarantined Easter Activities
With Easter fast approaching, I wanted to come up with things that I could do with the kids at home. Originally, I was going to have all my nieces and nephews over for an Easter egg hunt and other fun activities that have now been cancelled due to social distancing. Instead, my kids are I are stuck inside and I do not want to go to the store to try to get any Easter-related items because I really want to try to only go out for things like groceries when absolutely necessary. So for my Easter at home activities, I will only use things that I have already available in my house and I hope this helps to give other people ideas for quarantined Easter activities.

DIY Taylor Swift Photo Shoot
Anyone who knows me knows that I'm one of the biggest Swifties ever! I've even managed to pass my love of Taylor Swift down to daughter. She knows all of Taylor Swift's songs and every time a new video is released, she falls in love with her outfits and asks if she can have the same looks. So since my daughter happens to have a few Taylor Swift costumes and we're looking for activities to do while self-quarantining and social distancing, I decided it would be fun to do a Taylor Swift photo shoot!

Questions to Ask Kids While Quarantined
The first activity I came up with this week is thoughtful questions to ask your child (or children). I do talk to my kids a lot throughout the day. But I have to admit, I don’t go beyond talking to them about what we’re doing that day or week or asking them things like their favorite color or what they want to wear that day. So I came up with some more thought-provoking questions to ask them. I’m also going to write their answers down somewhere, maybe record them, so they can read/see them later. Or maybe I’ll ask them these same questions in a few years or every year and see how their answers change. Also, this doesn't have to be just your kids. Maybe ask your partner, parents, or friends. I think it'd be nice to get to know your loved ones a little more!

Finding the perfect costume for your baby or toddler
Babies are cute. Babies in costumes are even cuter! So how do you pick the perfect costume for your baby or toddler? Sometimes you go in with the mindset that babies and toddlers are so young that you can practically pick out any costume you desire and it will work out. Not the case! What you don’t realize is that even at very young ages, children have little personalities, preferences, and dispositions which will influence whether a costume is a good fit for them or not.
