DIY Mardi Gras Series: Sausage and Shrimp Skewers Recipe
Ingredients
1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
6-8 cloves of crushed garlic
2 tbsp olive oil, separated
Cajun seasoning
Andouille Sausage
Green bell pepper, cut into 1-inch cubes
Skewers (pre-soaked in water to avoid burning)
Directions
Season shrimp in 1 tbsp olive oil, garlic, and Cajun seasoning (to taste). Skewer the sausage, green bell peppers and seasoned shrimp. Broil for 5-10 minutes flipping half way between cooking. Season with salt and pepper if needed and serve.
