Social Distancing Cinco De Mayo
So far 2020 has been kind of a big bummer. So far we've had to celebrate Easter within our homes, and I've personally had quite a few friends and family members celebrate their birthdays safely in their homes as well. Cinco de Mayo will be another holiday to add to the list of occasions that we will be adding to the list of celebrations to safely celebrate within our homes practicing social distancing. This year Cinco de Mayo will also be falling on a Tuesday, which again, is a bummer as it's a missed opportunity for an amazing 'Taco Tuesday'. If you're looking for suggestions to throw a fun and delicious Cinco de Mayo/Taco Tuesday celebration, I have a few suggestions for how to make that happen.

DIY Super Mario Birthday Party
I recently turned 25 and decided to throw a party! Nintendo is having a big moment in both gaming and cosplay so I decided to make my party a Super Mario birthday party. Besides just dressing up and having a Mario Kart tournament, I thought it would be fun to decorate and make a themed drink or snack. I don't usually throw parties so I wanted something that wouldn't be too hard. So I headed to Pinterest, created a board of ideas, and got to work on my DIY Super Mario Birthday Party!

Easy Green Cocktails for St. Patrick's Day
St. Patrick's Day is not too far away. If you're anything like me, you love themes and any excuse to celebrate. I'm planning on having friends over this year so I wanted to come up with some fun green or Irish themed drinks to serve. The only thing is, I am very lazy. I only want the easiest recipes possible. Anything that involves a blender, grater, masher, or sauce pan (yes, I saw some drink recipes that told me to whip out a sauce pan! What!?), will not do. Things I CAN do? Cut, pour, stir, shake, and strain. For all my fellow lazy people out there, this one's for you!

Throwing a PJ Masks Birthday Party
My daughter just turned 4 this past weekend. When it came time to start planning her birthday party, I asked her what kind of party she wanted and, without hesitation, she exclaimed that it had to be PJ Masks themed (except she pronounces it, "Speejay Max"). When I told my friends we were doing a PJ Masks party, they were happy to hear it because, of course, all of their kids love PJ Masks too. I started to feel a lot of pressure but I think I pulled it off pretty well. And since now I know just how popular these PJ Masks are, I thought I'd share with you my party ideas to help out my fellow PJ Masks parents who may be thinking about throwing a superhero party of their own.

Host Your Own Oscar Viewing Party
The 2018 Oscars are coming up on March 4th. It's time to celebrate all of our favorite movies that have been released in the past year. If you're anything like me, you:
(A) LOVE movies. I LOVE movies, big productions movies, small production movies, even movies that are actually terrible but they're so terrible they end up with a cult following.
(B) really enjoy planning parties.
Considering the previous statements about myself, it's very surprising that I've actually never thrown an Oscar Watch Party. I did some brain storming, because an Oscar party sounds like a lot of fun, and I came up with a few great ideas to help you host your own Oscar Viewing Party.
