Soon it will be summer and people will be lining up at the beach. Sun, sand, and the sea – sounds like a recipe for pirates to me! Yes, June is filled with pirate activity all over the country. There will be pirate festivals at ports coast to coast this month. Not to mention pirate-themed parties that many families will be hosting.

It’s June, which means summer is finally here and now that the kids are out of school and you might need to plan some fun activities with them. Or maybe it means you need a 3 hour break and you should watch a movie. Well, once again, I’ve rounded up the must see movies of the month just for you.

Our month long Star Wars theme was a lot of fun, but now we’re ready to move on to another fun party theme. For the month of May, we want to celebrate superheroes by hosting another Pin to Win Contest. This time, we want to see all your favorite superhero party ideas and costumes! In order to do this, we need you to create a board on Pinterest and put all your favorite ideas there.

May the Fourth has been declared Star Wars Day and nobody loves a good Star Wars party like PureCostumes.com. We want to see what you’ve got planned for Star Wars Day! Pin your favorite party plans and Star Wars costumes for a chance to win a $50 gift card to our website.

As you must know by now, we love costume parties and we know a lot of you love them too. That’s why we want to reward you for your ideas and creativity with a chance to win awesome prizes. Each month, we will host a Pinterest party with a different theme. To enter, all you have to do is create a board with the theme of the month, pin at least one costume from our website, and submit your link on our contest form.

Mardi Gras isn’t the only reason to get dressed up next year! The Wizard World Comic Con is coming to New Orleans January 9-11 of next year. That means three whole days of comics, pop art, fan gear, collectibles, celebrities, cosplay and more! The event will be held at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center which will host a huge community of comic book and pop culture fans.

Over the past couple of weeks we’ve received photos of some of the BEST ugly Christmas sweaters in the world for our contest and we couldn’t have done it without all of our wonderful contestants.
