WonderCon is returning once again. This year, the SoCal comic convention is moving to a larger venue over at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Hosted by the same company that puts on San Diego Comic-Con, this event promises to be filled with everything you love about comics, pop culture, and costuming.

Spring is here and chances are a Renaissance fair will pop up in a town near you. One of our favorite local events is the SoCal Renaissance Faire which will return to the city of Irwindale, CA on April 2, 2016. If you’re wondering what all the hoopla is about, we’ve got a list of fun activities to do at a Renaissance fair. It’s a lot of fun for the whole family and they have activities for every age.

Attending a comic convention for the first time can be a bit daunting. The large halls, the costumed people, bright and shiny merchandise, and a handful of famous people can be a bit overwhelming if it’s something you have yet to experience. That’s why today, I’d like to share some insight on what to expect at your first comic convention.

People love any reason to dress up. We’re in the business, so we would know. It’s no wonder we’re seeing fun runs on the rise all throughout the country. These fun challenges usually consist of 5k courses with a specific theme and one of the great things that we noticed that a lot of the themes are based around costumes!
