Is anyone ready for the Spring 2016 Dapper Day? It’s going to be on May 1st this year and we can’t wait! Not familiar with Dapper Day? A group called DAPPER DAY Events organizes two gatherings a year, one in the Spring and one in the Fall, where people can get dressed in their Sunday's best and meet up at the Disneyland parks in Anaheim, Orlando, and Paris.

It’s been a long wait, but in a few more days, Game of Thrones fans will be rewarded for our patience (impatience?). Have you heard? Disney is in the works of producing a Mary Poppins sequel! Not only that, Emily Blunt is rumored to be in the running to play Ms. Poppins herself. I don’t know about you, but I think Emily Blunt is the perfect actress to fill the iconic nanny’s shoes.

With the debut and passing of this season’s inaugural comic book related feature, Deadpool, we are now en route marching forward and headlong into what promises to be one-heck-of-a-year for Geekdom. I mean, technically, the season began a bit early with Force Awakens; and it could have been slim-pickens for a bit; but like a breath of fresh air, Ryan Reynolds gave us what is quite possibly one of the truest and best-adapted films of all time.

WonderCon is returning once again. This year, the SoCal comic convention is moving to a larger venue over at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Hosted by the same company that puts on San Diego Comic-Con, this event promises to be filled with everything you love about comics, pop culture, and costuming.
