Spending a lot more time at home these days has given me a great opportunity to do a lot of things at home I used to feel like I didn't have time for. I've been spending more time organizing around my house, baking, and catching up on movies and shows. I thought this is the perfect opportunity to freshen up my memory on some of my favorite movies, Marvel movies.

Time to start busting out your paper turkeys and cornucopia centerpieces, Thanksgiving is this week and it’s the perfect time to express how thankful you are for your loved ones, as well as giving your time to strangers or those less fortunate. Children's Miracle Network Hospitals is hosting the Disney Princess 1/2 Marathon Weekend at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida. The event is taking place from February 23-26, 2017 where girls and women of any age can participate in these magic and fun-filled events, which include a 5K run, a 10K run, a half marathon, or the Glass Slipper Challenge. If you are planning on participating, you can of course wear whatever you'd like. But many participants do think it's more fun to dress in costumes and I couldn't agree more. You can opt to wear a full on princess costume if you'd like, but if you're looking for something little more sporty, I put together this amazing Jasmine-themed outfit for your inspiration.

All across the country, people are using their Thanksgiving time off to raise money for charities with events known as “Turkey Trots.” Just as football and dinner are part of the annual tradition, Turkey Trots are becoming more and more popular each year.

Turkey Trots are coming to a town near you! As marathons and fun runs gain popularity as a way to promote health and raise funds for charity, there are more and more events popping up every day. Last month, it was all about zombie walks while this month is all about turkey trots. These events really put the “fun” in fundraising and if you’re interested in joining the fun, here’s a list of the local turkey trot events near Los Angeles!

Costume season may be over for most people, but here in California, there are still plenty of events to suit up for. In fact, next week, Disneyland will be hosting their Avengers Super Heroes Half Marathon Weekend. From November 12-15, runners will head over to the “greatest place on Earth” to race for a cause.
