Go Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October is designated Breast Cancer Awareness Month and since its inception, has raised awareness and funding for a cure of one of the most common forms of cancer. Many people may have been effected by breast cancer in one way or another, whether you or someone you know has been diagnosed with the disease. Though there have been lots of great strides towards this cause, unfortunately many still suffer. The key is education, early detection, and getting patients the proper treatment. That’s why Breast Cancer Awareness Month is so important, but it doesn’t stop there. You can help! Now that the movement has spread across the country, pink has become synonymous with breast cancer awareness and you’ll probably see more pink than usual this month. If you’d like to show your support, you can wear pink too! This year, California Costumes Company has partnered with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation and created a line of pink wigs to help raise money and awareness for this devastating disease and when you purchase one of these items, you help support the cause.
