Ever since Wicked became a box office hit musical, pop culture has been fixated with female villains. The tale of Elphaba has brought in a new age of storytelling with the point of view as told by the bad guy. Last year, we got a glimpse of the Evil Queen in the Hollywood hit, Snow White and the Huntsman. This Friday, is the release of Disney’s newest film, Malificent (here). With every new twisted tale, these femme fatales keep getting more and more fabulous. Even Disney’s villain Halloween costumes by Leg Avenue, which were released last year, were a huge hit.
