Splurge or Steal: 2015 Costumes

Now that we’ve got a lot of our new 2015 Halloween costumes in tow, we want to play a little game with all of you. The name of the game is “Splurge or Steal.” We took two similar costumes, both with great designs, and now you’ll have to choose if you would rather go with the budget-friendly option or go all out with the ultra-deluxe version! Sounds easy enough, but it may be harder than you think. If you’re ready to play, read ahead! Little Lambs Barnyard animals are always a big hit with toddlers, but when you pit two adorable lamb costumes against each other, things get really interesting. Both come with a headpiece, bodysuit, and shoe covers, but one has a whimsical, vintage look and the other has a soft, plush body. Splurge or Steal 1 Wicked Witches We all know and love the story of The Wizard of Oz and what better night to dress as the Wicked Witch than Halloween? Both are officially licensed Wizard of Oz costumes and both have a full-length dress and a pointed hat. However, the details in the deluxe version really stand out! We’ll let you decide which of the two is a better buy. Polyvore - Splurge or Steal 2 Gods of the Sea In our next matchup, Neptune and Poseidon go head to head over which has the better costume. The King Neptune costume comes with many more accessories than the other. However you can’t deny the impressive design of the Poseidon costume. Splurge or Steal 3 Alice in Wonderland For our last Splurge or Steal, we’ve got two great Alice in Wonderland costumes. They both have a more traditional design, however the splurge option is an official Disney product while the other is not. Either way, we wouldn’t mind going down the rabbit hole in either of these outfits. Splurge or Steal 4 With these great costumes, you’ll definitely have your work cut out for you this year.
